Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist

Rekruuto, a leading remote staffing agency, is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Account Receivables Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will handle key aspects of revenue cycle management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and payable, payment posting, and financial reconciliation. Proficiency in the EPIC system is required for this full-time position.

This role requires availability full-time during US Eastern business hours.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of medical claims, including follow-ups, denials, and adjustments to optimize cash flow.
  2. Payment Posting: Post payments from insurance companies, patients, and other sources with precision to ensure accurate account reconciliation.
  3. Accounts Payable Management: Manage outgoing payments, verify invoices, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  4. Financial Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy in reporting and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  5. EPIC System Proficiency: Utilize EPIC software to manage patient accounts, billing, and revenue cycle processes efficiently.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed financial reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve cash collection and revenue cycle efficiency.
  7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and documentation requirements.
