Accounting Specialist

Rekruuto, a premier growth assistant agency, seeks a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client’s team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

This position is remote and full-time and requires availability during US MST business hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Bookkeeping:

Accurate and timely entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for the company.

Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity.

2. System Management:

Utilize various accounting software and systems to process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.

Familiarity with both digital and paper-based systems to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.

3. Expense Tracking:

Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Generate regular reports on expenses, providing insights into budget management.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding financial data and updates.

5. Adherence to Policies:

Follow established accounting policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline.

Stay informed about US GAAP regulations and implement best practices.

Requirements:

Proficiency in financial software and systems.

Skilled in financial reporting and analysis.

Experience with budget management and forecasting.

Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.

Background in finance or accounting.

Proven track record of managing financial records and preparing reports.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
